On August 12th, AYLUS Pearland volunteers gathered at Sunrise Lakes Clubhouse, embarking on a full day of preparation and community engagement for the highly anticipated AYLUS Tealine boba sale. The event kicked off at 9 AM, and the volunteers remained until 6 PM, dedicated to ensuring the success of this sale.
The day began with the preparation of boba pearls, a critical component of the boba drinks. The volunteers cooked the pearls, ensuring their perfect texture and taste. As the boba pearls simmered, the team completed the final touches for the sale, organizing supplies, setting up the sales area, and ensuring all logistical aspects were in order.
With the preparations complete, it was time for the highlight of the day – the boba sale. Our volunteers enthusiastically interacted with the community, offering a delightful range of boba beverages to our eager customers. The diverse flavors included classic milk tea, jasmine milk tea, and thai milk tea boba.
In addition to the sale, AYLUS Pearland held a Zoom meeting to teach other AYLUS branches about the process for making boba from purchasing ingredients to preparing the ingredients to making boba.
The combined efforts of the volunteers created a vibrant and enjoyable event, fostering community connections and furthering our mission.
